I have included these images in my research as it is one type of image im hoping to create, I think it is very effective how they' ve used such a narrow depth of field to only have the horses head in focus, I am hoping to create some photos like this however I want to have the horses full body in the shots not just the legs. I like the lighting in the second image because you can see a slight amount of sun flare from the fast shutter speed, i think this is a good effect because you can almost feel the warmth from the sun in the image rather than the background just being bright and it also makes the image feel more real than having fake lighting.
I have included this image in my research because I would like to also create some images like this however without the vignette, a narrow depth of field has also been used in this image which I think is very effective as the light is also focused on the horess head with the background being darker and blurred out, this really draws your eye to the horse as it is brighter and more defined than the rest of the image.
